POLICE ARE seeking the
driver of a vehicle involved in
a fatal crash at West Melton
just over a week ago.
Christchurch man Sean
Christopher Frost, 43, of
Parklands, died in Christ-
church Hospital last

9pm on Saturday, October
27, when the car hit a power
pole at the intersection of

A BIZARRE series of events which
led to an illegal overstayer being
deported following a Riccarton car
park crunch earlier this year has
spurred the mother of the
wronged party to produce a crash
report card for motorists.
Janine Bremner's novel card
venture has the backing of the
Selwyn District Council and, if the
interest at Sunday night's fire-
works event at Rolleston is an
indicator, the cards will be

when another vehicle drove into
her 18-year-old daughter's car as
she entered a gas station car park
in upper Riccarton in May.
She had only third party
insurance,'' Mrs Bremner said.

But the insurance company
said that wasn't enough to go on,
they needed the car registration
Her daughter contacted the
police who tracked the man down
in Auckland and charged him
with failing to give way to the
right, and giving false information
-- the phone number he gave did
The man turned out to be an

dent, received word this month
that he was being deported.
The insurance company covered
the repair costs to the young
woman's car under an innocent
