Did you run the 5k series in Hagley Park, the Buller Marathon, the City
to Surf, the New Balance 15k or any Christchurch Marathon event?
Would you like to find some more people to train with, to exchange
stories with and to get running advice from?
The New Brighton Olympic Athletic Club would like to offer you the
opportunity to do all these things. It is untrue that you have to be an
elite athlete to belong to a running club. We have runners, walkers,
jumpers and throwers of all ages and at all levels from the social to
the competitive. Our members range in age from 8 to 80.
We can offer friendship, advice and opportunities to run with like-
minded people. We have regular club runs and events throughout the
year that cater for every level of runner.
Our website www.nbo.org.nz gives information on what is
coming up. Any runner wanting to check us out is welcome to
come to a club run at no charge. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org or
email@example.com for the latest information about times and
places or runs and with any other questions you may have.
We look forward to meeting you.
